This piece was done as a test for an ad agency called, “Schawk” in San Francisco. Though this may look simple a great deal of detail was put into precise scaling using blueprints and photo references. This iPod was modeled as a sub-division surface, shaded, lit and rendered in Modo 301 with final touch-up in Photoshop CS3. The ultimate goal was to have a 3D photo real model of an iPod that can be used for product placements.
