This is an Austin Mini Fiat 500. This Sub-D model was created in Modo and rendered in Maya with mental ray.
I first modeled the basic shape of the car using blueprints from suurland.com and different reference images. I then went into further detail by separating individual pieces. Finally, I used mental ray to render. I wanted the car to look very clean and pristine and so with that in mind I wrote the shaders to convey just that.
